Has anyone been on this trip in November?  Wondering what clothes to pack.
Anyone also planning on going on this trip?

China in November can be pretty chilly.  Expect highs in Beijing about 50 deg. F.  Other places you visit will be a bit warmer.  Shanghai should see highs near 60, and X'ian (if you go) will be even a few degrees warmer.  The Yangtze basin should be in the high 50's.  Dress appropriately.  You will probably not need any shorts, but pack a fairly heavy coat for Beijing especially.

I am not sure which cities you visit exactly, as I see no listing for an 11 day tour of any kind.  I expect that was a typo.  Which tour exactly are you booked on?

Hi Joyce,

I am going on this tour too.  From what I hear - Beijing weather is kindof like Philly and Shanghai is kindof like Jacksonville.  Same latitudes; plus I have a son in Shanghai!

We are flying out of NY - you?
Have you got your visa yet?  We still don't have our 'ticket' numbers for our flights so no visas yet.
