PLT, what tour are you taking that includes a school tour in India. We have done two India tours, including the Ranthambore trip last November, and neither included a school visit.

Any school visit we have done had us interface with more than 32 kids. I would double up on what you have now. That should be enough.

I'm on the 12 Day Kaleidoscope of India tour, departing 4/1/16. I received an email from Gate 1 two weeks ago saying that the "Gate 1 Foundation has set up a special visit to a rural school" on this tour, and that we can bring school supplies if we want to give them to the children. It doesn't say where the school is located. I guess I'll buy some more pencils if you think the class will be large...I want to have enough.

I was on the India - Nepal trip (Kaleidoscope of lndia) We stopped at a school sponsored by Gate 1 - near Agra. Several of us brought paper, notebooks, pencils, stickers, pens, folders etc. It was all delivered in bags to the head of the school. The school was very rustic, kids at on rugs on the dirt floors in their classrooms, but all were dressed in their school uniforms. The children were very happy to see us and showed their school workbooks. Wonderful visit....

Thank-you for the responses - I've purchased more pencils, so I should be set!
